Chapman bookshop is the latest addition to the gallery. We started off with Art and Art related books such as art history, catalogues, how-tos, antiques, etc., and we now are expanding into other areas of literature including illustrated books, classic works of fiction, natural history, and books of interest to the Monterey Peninsula. Most of our books are used. Many are first editions or out of print. Among the new books we stock are "Art in California " and "Plein Air Painters of California" "The North" and "The South."
